Paris 2024 Readiness Support
Preparing for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games required equipping teams with the skills to conduct effective tabletop exercises and ensuring a unified understanding of the C3 framework across all operational teams. Additionally, facilitating exercises for events held outside traditional venues, such as Sailing in Marseille and Triathlon through Paris, involved coordinating with numerous government and emergency services stakeholders.
Ikosaeder developed a C3 online learning module to establish a common understanding across all operational teams within Paris 2024, clarifying each team's role within the overall structure. We also conducted Train-the-Trainer workshops to equip Paris 2024 teams with the skills needed to conduct their own tabletop exercises, including creating relevant scenarios and developing facilitation skills. Furthermore, we facilitated tabletop exercises for events like Sailing in Marseille and Triathlon through Paris, testing C3 structures at the venue level and their escalation to the Main Operations Centre (MOC).
Through these efforts, Ikosaeder played a pivotal role in ensuring operational readiness and enhancing the collaborative capabilities of all stakeholders involved in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Our initiatives led to improved coordination among delivery partners, government agencies, and emergency services, ensuring seamless integration and preparedness for the Games.
