Due to the venue location being in a non-urban remote area, infrastructure to support an event of that size was minimal. With operations spanning both the venue and Rome itself, ensuring effective coordination across agencies and stakeholders was critical.
Ikosaeder developed a multi-tiered command and control strategy, including a large-scale tabletop exercise, a bilingual Emergency Response Plan, and the design of an Event Operations Centre. On-site support ensured rapid issue resolution and enhanced situational awareness.
The event was hailed as a success, with record-breaking attendance and engagement. The strategies implemented improved real-time decision-making and set new operational benchmarks for future events.
